Polop de la Marina is a beautiful village located in the interior of the Marina Baixa between La Nucia and Callosa d’en Sarrià. With a small population of 3000 it is a place that is often skipped and therefore has kept a lot of its originality.
Within the town we can find the famous Plaza de los Chorros (121 water-taps coming out of the wall in the main square) and the house of Gabriel Miró. He spent many years in Polop and his house is today kept as a museum and tourist information office.
A few kilometres from this locality we can find the Castell de Guadalest, declared as of national tourist interest, and that receives great multitude of daily visits. Apparently one of Spains most visited tourist attractions.
